A nomadic gypsy tribe that was roaming throughout Lower France and Eastern Europe came upon the scene of the accident and reported it, and after learning the young baby had no family, adopted it into their own. By the age 14, Chloe was supporting her entire family with her fortune telling skills and psychic gift. Chloe loved the gypsy family, but was always plagued by the notion that she was not meant to be or stay with this tribe.

On her sixteenth birthday, the lawyers from her parent's estate finally tracked the tribe down and informed Chloe handbag that she was a very wealthy young woman who would receive a monthly allowance from the trust setup in her name. She was comforted by the knowledge that the money was there but continued to stay and support her family in the tribe until it was evident that she needed more formal schooling, and the managers of her parent's estate settled her into boarding school, and then she ventured over to the United States to travel and explore. Eventually, the girl settled into Salt Lake and decided to pursue a collegiate degree.
